Imagine your body telling you what it needs, you listening and hearing it correctly and then you doing it right away.
It’s a heightened sense of awareness. A different state of consciousness.
The primitive centers in our brain constantly tell us what we need in every moment. Sometimes its sunlight. Sometimes its movement. Oxygen. Water. Sleep. A salad. A book. A round of golf.
When we don’t listen, our body doesn’t receive. Our cells get anxious. Upset. Stressed.
They panic. They start screaming. And they don’t know why you aren’t listening.
You aren’t listening because society doesn’t want you to listen. Listening isn’t profitable. All the social media, all the TV, the 9-5 work life, the grind mentality, the force yourself to lift a specific workout everyday.
Western culture creates noise while de-constructing flow.
They want us to be disconnected. To not know how we as humans actually function. They act like they don’t know why humans are so sick. And the only advice we get is to drink water and start exercising.
We have to get away. We have to go backwards in order to move forward.
